This session includes a Professional Bee Keeper and a complete set up of a single box Bee Hive to provide a home for Honey Bees.
– Build your own Bee Hive – Traditional system (FLOW Hives are available at an
additional cost)
– Assemble a Timber Bee Box – Your Bees Brood Box
– Setting up your Bee Hive with a Base, Bottom Board, Frames, Queen excluder, Inner
Cover and a Roof. All included.
– Paint your Bee Box and Equipment
– Bee informed about Site Location, Preparation and Bee Keeper registration with AgVic
– Bee involved with Field Phillip Island Mentoring programs including installing a Honey Bee Colony*
– Best of all, a morning tea is included!
