We are excited to be offering the next step in Bee Keeping. Build your own Bee Hive with Apiarist Gary Morton from Field Phillip Island as our host.
This is a hands on workshop and would make a wonderful Christmas present for those wishing to build a quality home for Honey Bee’s.
We can also guide you to get ready to install your own colony of Honey Bees.

This session includes a Professional Bee Keeper and a complete set up of a single box Bee Hive to provide a home for Honey Bees.
– Build your own Bee Hive – Traditional system (FLOW Hives are available at an additional cost)
– Assemble a Timber Bee Box – Your Bees Brood Box
– Setting up your Bee Hive with a Base, Bottom Board, Queen excluder, Inner Cover and a Roof.
– Paint your Bee Box and Equipment
– Bee informed about Site Location, Preparation and Bee Keeper registration with AgVic
– Bee involved with Field Phillip Island Mentoring programs including installing a Honey Bee Colony
