The space at Clay & Co can be hired for a variety of  purposes, including exhibitions, photoshoots, launch parties, workshops or  pop-up shops. Our space at Clay & Co has been built with modular walls meaning the space can have several different configurations to suit large and small events.

We offer a kiln firing service for those working with clay.

Our Kiln firing service is $12 per kilo and we fire from Bisque to Stoneware, usually several times a week.

All pieces must be bone dry before being bought in for firing.

All glazed pieces must have NO Glaze or underglaze on the underside of the piece.

If you are working to a deadline, please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate. ( but please also note that this is not always possible)

Lastly, KNOW YOUR CLAY! different clay bodies fire to different temperatures! and firing certain clays too high can have a disastrous effect to other peoples work and the kiln itself!! If in doubt please talk to one of our knowledgeable ceramicists, they will always be happy to help and advise.

Clay & Co can provide a mobile creative experience for your event with prices starting at just $55 per person. We service The Bass Coast as well as The Mornington  Peninsula and metro Melbourne.

We can help you create a memorable experience for the whole party with a variety of workshops and activities. Hens Parties, birthday parties or corporate team building we will have a workshop to fit your group. No  previous experience is required and each participant will make their own piece to cherish and remember the special occasion by as well as taking time with friends in creating something special.

You will be guided each step of the way by our friendly team and we cater for all age groups, young and old!! Our hub is located at Clay & Co on Phillip Island, but we also have access to a variety of venues Melbourne wide or we can come to you, our workshops are not only  versatile, but mobile too!
