Clay Scraffitto – Saturday 2nd November

Perfect for beginners, no prior experience necessary! You will be given an introduction to the technique of Scraffito, carving into clay. Your teacher Karen Morton from Kaz Ceramics will guide you through step by step to make your very own scraffito platter or three plates, all  in the beautiful setting of Clay & Co Studio. We absolutely guarantee you will be thrilled with what you make on the day and the skills you learn to be able to take on your very own projects at home. All of the materials are provided and you will pick up your amazing creations two weeks later from the same location.

Please note that the clay platter or plates will be made prior to the workshop, ready for you to scraffito on the day as the clay needs to be dry to leather hard for this technique. After the workshop pieces will dry and be fired and ready for collection approximately three weeks later.
